As you probably know by now, I have made DVD compilations of much of
Mianus's and other Morris team's performances, including a set of Ale
Skits.
Info
on all that is below.
Here are the contents of all the DVD compilations so far (2/25/07).
Most are copies of Paul's tapes. Thanks, Paul. (If you want better
copies, ask him to make them for you.)
I would be happy to make you a copy of any/all of this or any other Morris video I have. (I
have already made a compilation for Middlesex Morris....) I am asking
$5/disk (except for the Skits which I'm charging $7 for all, $3 for
Mianus dancers.) Please note that the video quality is poor on many of
the segments. They should look ok on a tv but will look poor on a
computer monitor unless you look at them at "Normal" or "Half Sized."
They are all LOW RESOLUTION VIDEO captured at 320x240. Also note, the
capturing device made everything too bright. It was too much work to
fix that so I recorded them AS IS. That said, I've watched them on tv
and most look fine. (In the future I will put codes below to give you
an idea of the video quality.) (Oh and the audio is low too... but
fine.)
